A few words from Joanne Odisho
Range: Almas

The opportunity to collaborate with Knotte on a new product was an extremely exciting prospect. As a recent graduate of the Design Institute of Australia, it was an incredible chance to contribute meaningfully to a commercial project—something I had only dreamed of. Throughout the experience, I was supported by the team who truly believed in me as an emerging designer and trusted my vision from the beginning.

The process wasn’t about adjusting the design to fit manufacturing limitations—it was about adapting manufacturing processes to honour the design without compromise. This mindset made the experience especially empowering and creatively fulfilling, and the outcome was beyond my imagination. Seeing the final product—true to the original concept and refined through collaboration—was both surreal and deeply rewarding. It marked a pivotal moment in my journey as a designer.
